Pierre Vincent new General Manager Essent Milieu

Arnhem, 30 September 2009 - Pierre Vincent, currently Executive Vice President Group Finance & Administration at Océ N.V. in Venlo, has been appointed General Manager of Essent Milieu Holding N.V. as of 1 October.

Pierre Vincent succeeds Michiel Boersma, Chairman of the Executive Board of Essent N.V., who took over the role of General Manager temporarily after the departure of Robert van der Hoeven on 1 August 2009.

Pierre Vincent (49) began his career at KPMG and Deloitte and since 1991 has been working at Océ N.V., where he held various roles. Thus at Océ he was responsible for (among other things) Corporate Tax, Treasury, Investor Relations, Group Controlling, Governance and Compliance & Risk Management. Furthermore, in his last role Pierre was chairman of Océ’s Sustainability Forum.

Essent Milieu separated from Essent as of 1 October 2009 and will continue as an independent company. After its independence, the shareholders will be the provinces of Brabant, Overijssel, Limburg, Groningen, Drenthe and Flevoland, as well as some 140 local authorities in these provinces and Friesland.
