Peter Terium appointed member and Deputy Chairman of Executive Board RWE AG

Peter Terium will be appointed a member of the Executive Board of RWE AG as of 1 September 2011. At the same time, he will be appointed Deputy Chairman of the Board. Terium has been Chairman of the Board of Essent N.V., a fully-owned subsidiary of the RWE Group in the Netherlands, since 2009.

Until his successor is appointed, Terium will continue to fulfil his tasks as CEO of Essent in addition to his new post.
