Essent places four total power plants at vegetable growers

Essent has entered a new contract for the construction and exploitation of four new total power plants at locations of greenhouse grower A.C. Hartman, the largest cucumber and capsicum producer in the Northern Netherlands.

Joint capacity of 10 megawatts
Essent and Westland Energy Services specialists will be responsible for the construction work and the exploitation of the plants. The total power plants have a joint capacity of 10 megawatts. In addition to heat, the gas engines also produce CO2 which will be used by the produce. The contract has a term of ten years.
