Essent halts the Essent Milieu sales process

Arnhem, 03 June 2009 – Essent has decided to terminate the Essent Milieu sales process. Following negotiations with various interested parties, it has become evident that none of the parties can now satisfy the criteria laid down for the sale of Essent Milieu.

The sales process that commenced on 10 February of this year, has taken place extremely meticulously and the importance of the sales criteria has remained unchanged during the process. It has constantly been clearly stated that the sale of Essent Milieu will not be carried through at any price.
